My name is Pi Gesteelde-Diamant. I am a 21 y/o black and queer artist, eldest sibling of 9, and I am currently pursuing a BFA in Painting at SCAD. Even though I am focusing my career around paint, I am experienced in multiple fields of crafts such as both traditional and digital drawing, design, illustration, and crochet.

I have been drawing since I was around 5-6 years old. Growing up, I was always inspired by the cartoons I watched, like ATLAB and Steven Universe--and illustrated children's books such as Fancy Nancy--to recreate already existing characters and make new ones. Music and video games also heavily inspired me to write stories for my own characters and even had me attempting at traditional animations as a kid. I got into digital art/animation at the age of 11 and I continue to animate for fun, occasionally !

Painting came to me when I was around 14 years old, when I was really just doing it for fun, but I eventually discovered a passion in it's process--the same I had (and still have) with drawing and illustrating.  I have decided to take my love for arts and crafts with me as I grow and get older. I want to continue to design and create various projects that I can share with the rest of the world.
